Sharing my top picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!

For today, let’s chat about the Nordstrom Sale! It’s day 3 of retail extravaganza so thank you for your patience and for putting your shopping pants on with me!
I’ve been covering the Nordstrom sale here on the blog for years, and some years have been amazing and others have been totally blah. I wasn’t sure if I’d post about it this year, but when I perused the catalogue after we returned from our Spain trip, I was actually excited about the sale. This is always a great opportunity to get new fall items at a discounted price, and I’ll use this sale to stock up on new fun finds and some essentials.

How to shop the Nordstrom sale:
My biggest tip for shopping the sale is to build your wish list early. Buy things you see that are in stock that you want right away; many of the best products sell out quickly! I’m an Influencer (for being a card holder – it’s the only retail card I have). I’ll have items in my wish list ready to go, so when I have access to the sale, I can quickly add to cart.
What I purchase each year during the sale: any outwear for the upcoming season, back-to-school shoes, bras, underwear, jeans, holiday gifts (like jewelry for stocking stuffers), and pajamas.
Don’t buy items that are too *wintery.* They often will go on sale again in the fall. I bought some Mother jeans last year and by the time it was cold enough to wear them, they were CHEAPER on the Nordstrom site than what I’d paid. Rude. Don’t be like me. 😉
The sale can be super overwhelming, so I went through EVERYTHING to find the best of the best stuff to link in this post. (So often I have pinch me moments when it comes to my unusual but amazing job, and getting to shop and pick out the best stuff is always one of those moments. Shopping is one of my very favorite things!)
Many of the items below are things I already own and love, and also some new finds that I’ll be adding to our cart! I also tried to link to things that are actually a good deal. Like, these 8k earrings are gorgeous but not something I’d jump to buy during the sale lol. (But if that’s you, live your best life!!)

The best socks – this is when we stock up.
I also stock up on hanky panky.
The best bra in all the land. It’s pretty much the only real bra I wear, and I use this sale to stock up on different colors.
