About Nitasha:

Nitasha Mehta is a mission-driven marketer and strategist whose career has evolved into a deep commitment to women’s health and wellness. With over 15 years of experience spanning e-commerce, brand partnerships, and consumer marketing at companies like Amazon, Samsung, and Boxed, Nitasha built a strong foundation in delivering innovation, impact, and measurable growth.

Her journey into women’s health began organically through purpose-led initiatives, most notably at Boxed, where she launched the pioneering RethinkPink campaign. The initiative positioned Boxed as the first U.S. retailer to take a public stand against gender pricing inequities like the Pink Tax and Tampon Tax. Nitasha’s work extended beyond brand advocacy into legislative activism—partnering with Congresswoman Jackie Speier, testifying in multiple states, and building coalitions with brands and nonprofits to drive systemic change.

These experiences laid the groundwork for a deeper focus on equity and health. At Cayaba Care, a maternity healthcare startup, she led Marketing and Communications in service of improving maternal health outcomes for underserved communities. Most recently, she expanded her impact in wellness through strategic partnerships at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Now, drawing on both her professional experience and cultural heritage, Nitasha is launching Shakti—a postpartum snack company rooted in age-old Indian remedies. Designed to support lactation, digestion, and mood, Shakti is the embodiment of her belief in combining modern insights with ancestral wisdom to care for women during one of their most vulnerable life stages.
