There’s a lot to look forward to this month. For starters, as I’m writing this, we’re experiencing early signs of spring (hello, warmer temps and sunshine aplenty!) around the country. Plus, Mercury goes direct on March 20, meaning glitches in tech and communication, plus any frustrating delays, are likely to clear back up.

Keep reading to see what’s specifically in store for you this March, based on your own sign. (Hot tip: Read up on the ‘scope for your rising sign, too, for an extra dose of helpful intel.)

Your March Wellness Horoscope Unpacked

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Following the March 3 eclipse in your sixth house, you might be dealing with changes at work, or otherwise navigating a health matter. If it’s the former, you might want to take a step back to see what processes you might need to tune up or revise for the sake of a better workflow. If it’s the latter, now’s the best time to make any outstanding health appointments that have fallen by the wayside. Similarly, you’d stand to benefit from integrating mind-body practices into your routine as you see fit—be it a daily journaling practice, energizing a.m. yoga flow, or calming stretches before hopping into bed.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Last month had you focus on your career and home life, but March is all about relationships—of both the friendship and romantic variety—as well as fun. In case a certain relationship is no longer serving you, it could be time to get honest about the situation and cut ties with grace. In better news, especially around the March 18 new moon, you’ll be ready to dazzle and supercharge your social life. Consider planning group outings with your besties—be it a hike, happy hour, Sunday brunch, or even group volunteering. The more company, the merrier. By month’s end, enjoy some solo time at home to rest and recalibrate.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

March shines a spotlight on your career. If you’ve been working on a big project or have an interview or performance review on the horizon, try to plan your biggest and brightest efforts around the new moon on March 18 to optimize your odds of triumphing. Since Mercury (your ruling planet) is retrograde until March 20, you might also want to reach out to people from your past—be in former bosses, colleagues, or clients, or even loose ties from college—if you want to expand your network and range of opportunities. Need a boost of confidence in the process? Repeat morning affirmations to set your days up with optimism and energy.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Following the March 3 eclipse in your third house, it’s a good idea to book a short trip (might I recommend a solo wellness staycation?) or work on a side project related to media or communication. The latter could include sprucing up your LinkedIn presence, posting some Reels to your ‘gram, or anything else that’s public-facing. By the March 18 new moon, the focus will shift to international travel, foreign culture, and/or higher learning. Whether you’re primed to pack up for a fabulous vacation or have been wanting to take a course for fun or to spruce up your professional skills, you’re bound to kick things off with energy and enthusiasm. Leo (July 23-August 22)

Money’s on your mind as March kicks off (and that’s not only for Lions who’ve yet to file their taxes). The March 3 lunar eclipse took place in your second house of earned income, highlighting what you can do to stretch your dollar further. There’s even a chance that you’ve gotten a new windfall, perhaps via a bonus, raise, or tax return. Now’s the perfect time to brush up on your financial wellness habits—whether that’s automating your monthly savings, getting clear about impulse buys and expenses worth cutting, or getting clear about your financial goals for the near future. Budgeting’s not always sexy, but financial stability and independence certainly are. 

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Have you been burning the candle on both ends? Even if your schedule is filled to the brim with work assignments and personal obligations, you need to allow yourself moments of self-care on the regular—even if that means scheduling them on your calendar so they actually get done. Maybe that looks like waking up early for a quiet hour alone with a warm cup of coffee, or walking around the block as the sun rises. It could even be as simple as exercise snacking throughout the day, or applying a face mask and listening to calming music (instead of mentally repeating tomorrow’s to-do list) during your nighttime routine. Do whatever gives your mind, body, and soul the R&R they deserve. It’s always time well spent.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Chances are you’re kicking off March being super productive and busy as a bee. While it’s likely you’re enjoying your responsibilities—potentially even reaching a flow state as you tackle them or earning a raise or promotion in the process—be sure to not burn out with all the progress you’re making. Perhaps there’s a health check-up you’ve been putting off for a while, or maybe a wellness routine (gym visits, meditation practice, or no-screens-before-bed rule) that’s fallen to the wayside. Whatever the case may be, don’t forget to tend to self-care so you can show up as your best and brightest self both on and off the clock.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Love is in the air, no matter if you’re single or paired up. If you’ve been dealing with a romantic obstacle as of late—whether that’s a lack of suitors, not being able to spend enough quality time with your S.O., or anything in between—things are likely to perk back up this month. So go ahead and put yourself out there. Spruce up your dating profile, ask someone out, or plan a fun getaway with your partner to make the most of the planetary energy working in your favor. But by month’s end, you’ll want to reorient the focus back to yourself. Although spring is imminent, the risk of falling ill won’t disappear, so be sure to nourish yourself with healthy, home-cooked meals and high-quality shuteye.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

This month’s focus is placed on your home. Are there some domestic projects you’ve had on your radar but have been putting off? Try your best to get any major ones done ASAP—whether that’s remodeling, scoping out new rental listings on Zillow, or any number of spring cleaning projects, especially any related to water (e.g. investing in a new water filter or addressing mold with the help of a professional). It’s also a great time to declutter. Clearing your home of items that no longer serve you won’t only help energize your space; it can also reduce stress and boost your mood.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Your work prospects and earnings might have been in flux as of late. If you’re on the market for a new job or client, make the most of the expected lull during Mercury retrograde—which goes direct on March 20—by networking with past connections (think: former co-workers and acquaintances from yesteryear). In fact, most of the best networking prospects come from “weak” connections versus your inner circle or work besties. You’ll likely be busy with meetings and other communication-heavy endeavors around the March 18 new moon, so be sure to sleep well and start your morning on the right foot—with a hearty breakfast and a solid dose of sunshine—to energize your busy days ahead.

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

There’s a decent chance you’re still dealing with some major changes that came up from last month’s solar eclipse on February 17. As a fixed sign, you prefer keeping things business as usual, so you might be struggling with whatever newness has come your way. Change can be hard and growing pains are real. It could be helpful to journal out your concerns, have a heart-to-heart with a trusted friend, or consult a therapist to help you ride out the waves. On a brighter note, you’re in a fabulous position to optimize your health and wellness routine. By dialing in the basics of health and longevity—a balanced diet, movement, good sleep, solid relationships, and a positive mindset—you’ll be primed and ready to deal with any hurdles that show up in your personal or professional life.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

Since Mercury’s in retrograde in your sign, you might find that you’re stifled or not seeing progress as you wish. As frustrating as this may be, allow yourself to lean into a slower and steadier pace. Doing so can help you address details more clearly and even help you optimize performance, no matter if you’re focusing on a project at work or trying to level-up your strength-training routine at the gym. In fact, you should give yourself permission to focus on your inner world (a natural inclination for many a Pisces, anyway) and your goals until Mercury goes direct on March 20. Journaling, meditation, and quiet walks in nature can all help you gain clarity on where you’d like to focus your efforts once things are back to their usual speed.
