Yoga is a practice of decluttering the mind—and all those story tabs constantly crowding your browser can make that a difficult task. Now, thanks to a new text-to-speech feature on Yoga Journal, you can listen to your favorite YJ stories whenever the moment is right, whether that be en route to class or on your daily mindfulness stroll.
Available only to O+ members, the “listen” option under the headline of each story lets you catch up on our latest without gluing yourself to the screen.
Here’s How to Use Yoga Journal’s Audio Feature
It’s pretty simple. Click the “listen” button in the top left corner of your chosen story to hear it. You’ll see the audio-play icon on both mobile and desktop versions of our site, converting your favorite stories from text to speech.

Become an O+ Member to Access Text-to-Speech
Not an O+ member? Well, that’s simple, too.
Sign up for an O+ subscription, which gives you full access to audio versions of articles on Yoga Journal as well as Outside, SKI, Backpacker, Climbing, Triathlete, so you can listen on the go. You’ll also receive access to apps including Trailforks and Gaia GPS. A membership usually costs $7.49 per month, but if you sign up before the end of the month, January 31, you can save 26 percent on your membership with the code NEWYEARS26.
